Doctor Who isn’t too complicated, it’s NEEDLESSLY complex so this wanker can roll around in his egotistical puddle of jizz.

Moffat, Moffat, Moffat, ‘complicated’ telly shows don’t exist. Thermo Dynamics is complicated. Brain surgery is complicated. Telly shows are a matter of sharing bits of information one step at a time or setting the audience on the wrong foot so they can be surprised.

I don’t think anyone is complaining about not being able to follow your scripts. People are fussing over the fact that they have become ridiculously MESSY without reason. It’s like a puzzle box someone threw up in. The puzzle is just as easy to solve, it’s just that it’s no fun having to scrape puke off the individual pieces first. It’s not NEEDED. The formula of Doctor Who itself is appealing enough. That doesn’t mean people don’t have the ten cent brain it takes to put it all together.

RTD may have been a bad writer but at least he was self-aware enough not to consider himself the Philip K. Dick of the BBC. Also, he had respect for the fans and maintained it even if a third of them completely slammed his episodes.
